World Juniors: Team USA Lineup vs. Slovakia

The United States will look to move to 2-0 at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship on Wednesday evening. The Americans take on Slovakia from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto at 7:30 ET on the NHL Network.

Team USA won its WJC opener with a 6-1 win over Latvia on Monday afternoon. Clayton Keller scored twice while Colin White, Patrick Harper, Jordan Greenway and Jeremy Bracco added a goal each. Troy Terry and Tage Thompson had two assists each. Tyler Parsons made 11 saves for the win between the pipes.

Bob Motzko and the USA coaching staff has jumbled the forward lines a little and inserted Boston College goaltender Joe Woll before the second game.

Slovakia dropped its first game of the tournament, a 5-0 loss to Canada on Tuesday. UConn freshman and New York Rangers prospect Adam Huska made 39 saves on 44 shots faced in the game. North Dakota goaltender Matej Tomek is one of the backups for Slovakia. In addition to the two NCAA players on Slovakia's roster, there are four members of the team who compete in the CHL.
