Defending regular season champion Robert Morris was picked to repeat by league coaches when the Atlantic Hockey Preseason Poll was released on Wednesday morning. The Colonials received seven first place votes and had 97 points overall.
Defending tournament champion Rochester Institute of Technology was second with four first place votes and 91 total points. Bentley and Canisius rounded out the top four.
