Boston College was picked to win Hockey East by the league's coaches in the annual Hockey East Preseason Coaches Poll, released by the league on Monday morning.
Defending regular season and tournament champion Boston University was slotted in the second position. Defending NCAA Champion Providence College was next in the third spot, followed by UMass Lowell in fourth.
Boston College was also picked first in the Hockey East Writers and Broadcasters Association Poll.
