Matt Dewkett

Boston College was picked to win Hockey East by the league's media in the annual Hockey East Writers and Broadcasters Association Poll, released late Saturday night.

Defending regular season and tournament champion Boston University was slotted in the second position. UMass Lowell, winners of two of the last three league championships, was third. Defending NCAA Champion Providence College finished in fourth.
