Providence vs. Omaha, Frozen Four Semifinal Preview: By the Numbers

Matt Dewkett

Boston -- The first semifinal of the 2015 Frozen Four features Providence and Omaha, two teams that have never won a national championship, squaring off on TD Garden ice (5:07 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

Both coaches, Nate Leaman and Dean Blais, are bringing new teams to the Frozen Four after guiding their previous schools to the Frozen Four. Both teams have good defensive numbers, but are teams that will get in deep on the forecheck and try to be creative.

The match-up features two of the best goaltenders in the nation, including Omaha's Ryan Massa, the national leader in save percentages.
