UConn, Notre Dame hockey to meet at Brooklyn's Barclays Center

The University of Connecticut and the University of Notre Dame will take to the ice at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, Nov. 1, according to a press release.

The game will be in conjunction with the launch of BROOKLYN HOCKEY, an initiative the arena management is pushing as part of the first ever season of the New York Islanders in their new home. The game between the Huskies and the Fighting Irish will be the second part of a double header. Army and Bentley will square off in an Atlantic Hockey clash prior to the main event between the Hockey East foes.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 1 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased via Ticketmaster by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Tickets can also be bought at the American Express Box Office at the Barclays Center beginning Saturday, May 2 at 12 noon.
