The United States opens up play at the 2016 World Juniors with their toughest test of the preliminary round with a game against tournament favorites Canada.
Game time is 1pm EST from Helsinki Ice Hall in Helsinki Finland. The game can be seen on NHL Network in the United States, and on TSN in Canada. There are no legal means of streaming the game online(Yarrrrr).
Here is the United States line-up for today's game. Brandon Halverson is listed as the starter in goal. Otherwise, the line-up is unchanged from the last US exhibition game, save the elimination of Clayton Keller and Ryan Collins, who were the final two cuts:
