Wisconsin freshman forward Seamus Malone and freshman goaltender Matt Jurusik were named First Star and Third Star of the Week, respectively, by the Big Ten on Nov. 3. It is the first time a Badgers player has been honored since Jan. 6, 2015. Malone and Jurusik played vital roles as Wisconsin won its first two games of the season in a sweep of Arizona State. Malone had the game-winning goal in Saturday's finale and totaled three points on the weekend. Jurusik boasted a .956 save percentage, while earning his first two collegiate victories. He turned away 16 shots on Saturday night to seal the 2-1 win and the sweep. This is the first career honor for both Malone and Jurusik.
