Must Reads
Minnesota decided that Friday will be a second chance to reset the season and that is exactly what is the case.
The Gophers are rolling with the exact same line combinations against Minnesota Duluth as in Saturday's 3-0 loss against Vermont in the U.S. Hall of Fame Game.
Minnesota Duluth, meanwhile, starts sophomore Kasimir Kaskisuo in net. Kaskisuo had success against the Gophers, winning 3 games and only allowing 2 goals in his last 3 games against his in-state rival. Junior defenseman Carson Soucy is suspended for the game by the NCHC for his on Bemidji State's Leo Fitzgerald. He will be eligible to return tomorrow.
