The Irma, Alberta native was whistled for a five-minute major and game misconduct with 2:45 remaining in the first period. The NCHC has issued a one-game ban in conjunction with the league's supplemental discipline policy.
The Minnesota Wild prospect, who had 40 penalty minutes as a sophomore, will be eligible to return for UMD's home game against Minnesota on Saturday night. He'll miss Friday's game against the Gophers at Mariucci Arena.
