NHL Central Scouting Announces Final Pre-Draft Rankings

NHL Central Scouting announced their final set of rankings prior to this June's NHL Draft today. You can see the full rankings here.

As a reminder, the purpose of NHL Central Scouting is less about predicting what the draft will look like on June 27th, and more as a tool for the other 30 teams in the league to check their own internal draft lists against what is essentially a 31st team's draft list. The timing of the release of this list gives teams one last opportunity to scout players either in Junior A playoffs or at the World U18 championships

Boston College recruit Alex Tuch continued his rise up the draft rankings, coming in at 12th among North American skaters, making him the top NCAA prospect for the draft. BC's Sonny Milano(16th), Michigan's Dylan Larkin(17th), North Dakota's Nick Schmaltz(19th), and Wisconsin's Jack Dougherty(30th) also cracked the top 30. Boston College goalie Thatcher Demko is the top-rated North American goalie.
