Connor Brickley Signs with the Florida Panthers

Harry How

Vermont outgoing senior forward Connor Brickley has signed an entry-level contract with the Florida Panthers. Brickley was a second round draft choice of the Panthers in the 2010 NHL Draft.

Brickley is a 6-1 19 lbs. that posted a career-best 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points this past season for the Catamounts. Though not much of a scorer, Brickley is known as a tough defensive forward, and a punishing hitter that could provide depth to a team at the NHL level as a fourth-liner.

Brickley played seven games on an Amateur Tryout Offer with the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL at the end of season before being offered the contract by Florida.
