2014 NCAA Hockey Tournament: Justin Kloos named Most Outstanding Player of West Regional

Kloos scored 3 points in two Gopher victories.

ST. PAUL-- Minnesota forward Justin Kloos was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2014 West Regional. Kloos, a freshman from Lakeville, MN, had 3 points in the two games. That includes a pair of goals in Saturday night 's 4-0 win against St. Cloud State that has the Gophers advancing to its second Frozen Four in 3 years.

Kloos is joined by 4 teammates on the all-tournament squad in linemate Nate Condon, defensemen Brady Skjei and Mike Reilly, and goaltender Adam Wilcox, who earned his 7th career shutout with 24 saves Saturday. Each played major roles in Minnesota's wins over Robert Morris and the Huskies.

Nic Dowd, whose overtime winner Saturday night gave the Huskies a 4-3 win against Notre Dame, is the only other player to be named to the All-Tournament team.
