Northeastern senior forward Braden Pimm has signed a professional tryout agreement (PTO) with the Milwaukee Admirals, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Nashville Predators.
Pimm, who was named an alternate captain at the semester break, really had a breakout season in his senior year. The Fort. St. John, British Columbia native led the Huskies in goal scoring with 20, which almost matched his total of 22 from his first three seasons. He added 17 assists and had a plus/minus of +8.
Pimm went hard to the net and scored a majority of his goals from close range. The Huskies fell short of their NCAA Tournament bid, but Jim Madigan's team overachieved, and Pimm was a major reason why. NU was picked to finish 11th in Hockey East, but maintained a lofty national ranking through much of the year and had a chance to finish as high as second in the Hockey East standings heading into the final weekend.
