College Hockey: NCAA Tournament Bracket announced

Minnesota is the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.

PHILADELPHIA -- The NCAA Tournament field has been announced as we now know the 16 teams and what regionals they will head to in their quest to advance to the 2014 Frozen Four at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa.

Minnesota was the No. 1 overall seed and will face Atlantic Hockey Association Tournament Champion Robert Morris in the West Regional.

Boston College, Union and Wisconsin are the other No. 1 seeds for the 2014 NCAA Hockey Tournament.

West Regional

No. 1 Minnesota vs. No. 4 Robert Morris

No. 2 Notre Dame vs. No. 3 St. Cloud

Midwest Regional

No. 1 Wisconsin vs. No. 4 North Dakota

No. 2 Ferris State vs. No. 3 Colgate

East Regional

No. 1 Union vs. No. 4 Vermont

No. 2 Quinnipiac vs. No. 3 Providence

Northeast Regional

No. 1 Boston College vs. No. 4 Denver

No. 2 UMass Lowell vs. No. 3 Minnesota State
