NCHC Championship Game: Denver vs. Miami Line Charts

Line-ups for the NCHC championship game

Matt Christians

Here are the line charts for tonight's NCHC championship game. The winner of the game will move on to play in the NCAA tournament.

Not much to say about the line-ups here. Both teams are keeping the exact same line-ups from yesterdays semifinal, and with each team having won three straight over higher-ranked opponents, why would they make a change?

Two key match-ups to keep an eye on tonight. First are the two red hot top lines for each team. Denver's Ty Loney has six points through four playoff games and his playing fantastic hockey. Miami's Blake Coleman, meanwhile, has nine goals in nine games since returning from injury in late February.

The other big match-up will be in goal. Sam Brittain was brilliant in helping Denver past Nebraska-Omaha last weekend, but struggled with some weak goals in yesterday's win over Western Michigan. Miami's Ryan McKay looked absolutely locked in last night against North Dakota, stopping 32 shots in a shutout victory.

Here are the line charts for each team, which are subject to change before the game.
