WCHA

I admit that I was wrong for not ranking Ferris State higher in preseason. I think I was on the right track with Michigan though.

It's weird that we went a whole week without one of these, but Lake Superior picked up another commitment.

Atlantic Hockey

Robert Morris freshman Elias Ghantous is going to throw some big hits this year. Unfortunately, one he threw in RMU's exhibition will force him to sit out RMU's next game.

Big Ten

X-rays came back negative on Michael Downing's foot after he blocked a shot against the NTDP on Monday. He'll miss Michigan's next exhibition, but should be fine beyond that.

Not shocking news, but Penn State freshmen Scott Conway and Erik Autio will see some early power play time for Penn State. Offense was sorely lacking for the Nittany Lions last year, and those two could play a role in fixing that.

NCHC

The Colorado Avalanche are trying to host an upcoming outdoor game, and if they get it, a game between Denver and Colorado College seems like a natural fit.

Hockey East

It's not at all awkward that injuries have forced Boston University to put JD Carrabino back on their roster, after cutting him last May.

NHL Draft

It's not too early to start looking at the 2016 Draft. Well, that's probably not true, but fun regardless.
