Lake Superior State's Alex Globke scores with .1 second left (GIF)

Lake Superior State forward Alex Globke cut Notre Dame's 2-0 lead in half with college hockey's first intermission buzzer beater of 2014-15.

With seconds remaining in the first period and the Lakers trailing thanks to Fighting Irish goals by Thomas DiPauli and Mario Lucia, Globke took Ian Miller's pass in the slot and beat Chad Katunar with just a tenth of a second remaining to make it 2-1 Fighting Irish.

Officials upheld the goal following a review.

Despite the goal, Notre Dame currently leads 3-2 midway through the second.
