After the opening weekend of the second annual Big Ten/Hockey East Challenge, the Big Ten holds a one point lead with four games in the challenge played.

Hosting Connecticut, Penn State tied the Huskies 2-2 Friday before finding offense in a 7-1 win Saturday. Ohio State split a couple of games against #3 Providence at home that needed more than sixty minutes. Anthony Greco completed a hat trick Friday for a 5-4 Buckeyes OT win. Friars freshman forward Brian Pinho turned the tables on OSU Saturday, beating Matt Tomkins (Chicago Blackhawks) with 45 seconds left in the extra frame.

The 20 game Hockey East/Big Ten Challenge runs through November 29.
