A night after tying Colgate and losing a shootout, Minnesota is getting reinforcements.

As previously noted, Gophers head coach Don Lucia will be behind the bench and both Brady Skjei and Hudson Fasching are in the lineup. The latter is back with his normal linemates Kyle Rau, who scored his 100th point last night, and Sam Warning.

It also means Minnesota's third line of Seth Ambroz, Tom Serratore and Travis Boyd is reunited.

Skjei's return might be more beneficial. The Gophers had just five defensemen against the Raiders and there were moments in the game which it showed. While associate head coach Mike Guentzel was happy with the 26, 27 hard minutes his guys played, having that extra body for a second game in as many nights cannot hurt.

With the two players (and head coach) back, freshman forward Gabe Guertler and Ryan Reilly are sitting along with Christian Isackson (A.J. Michaelson is taking his place).

Adam Wilcox is expected in net for Minnesota while Scott Diebold is expected to get the nod for RPI.
