North Dakota edged the Colorado College Tigers 5-3 on Friday and 3-2 on Saturday to earn the weekend sweep in Grand Forks, North Dakota at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

With scoring from six different individuals throughout the weekend, UND proved to have the depth and start the second half of season play just like most planned.

Mark MacMillan(Montreal Canadiens), Michael Parks (Philadelphia Flyers) [2], Bryn Chyzyk, and Dillon Simpson (Edmonton Oilers) all scored on Friday's game, and MacMillan, Keaton Thompson (Anaheim Ducks), and Rocco Grimaldi (Florida Panthers) found the back of the net on Saturday night.

Of those individuals, Parks, Simpson, and Chyzyk all were sporting three-point weekend was all was said and done.

Colorado College's problems continue to cause issues came after game as they just cannot seem to score goals.

Don't get me wrong, Carolina Hurricanes prospect Jaccob Slavin is doing a helluva job burying pucks, but as a defenseman, he shouldn't have led the series in goals scored with three.

It's been six games since the Tigers have found any sort of victory, and with games against Providence and Miami on deck and in the hole, Colorado College has to find scoring answers very quickly or they're going to end up with a two-win season.

Now on a seven game winning streak, North Dakota is quickly being found on more and more college hockey radars, especially as the second half of the season is coming around.
