The USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game is Thursday night at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The game brings together 40 of the top American players eligible for the 2014 NHL Draft in Philadelphia.
Former Boston College Eagle and NHL veteran Joe Mullen will coach the Blue Team. He is currently an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Flyers. Former Wisconsin great Mark Johnson is the coach of the White Team. Johnson, the son of famous Wisconsin coach Bob, is the head coach of the women's team at UW.
Let's take a look at the roster, broken down by committed players, uncommitted players and major junior players. Boston College freshman goaltender Thatcher Demko, a San Diego, Calif. native who will be on the White Team, is the only player in the event who is on a college hockey roster for this season.
