The National Collegiate Hockey Conference unveiled a new website this week and announced that tickets are now on sale for the league's inaugural tournament to be held March 21-22, 2014 in Minneapolis, Minn. at the Target Center.
The new league will use the arena that the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves use for their home games. The NCHC had to go with that option once the Big 10 announced that they would use the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul and Joe Luis Arena in Detroit on a rotating basis. The old WCHA had previously used the Xcel Energy Center for its Final Five. Ticket prices start at $60 in the upper bowl and $130 in the lower bowl for the first NCHC Tournament.
Hockey East also unveiled an improved website with a sleek new design earlier this summer, as well as officially welcoming Notre Dame to the league.
