Toews leads the way of college hockey alums invited to Team Canada olympic orientation camp

Hockey Canada announced its 47-player list of those who will be invited to Calgary for the Olympic orientation camp at the end of August the same day that USA Hockey announced its own roster.

Former North Dakota star and two-time Stanley Cup champion Jonathan Toews is the most prominent name among six NCAA alums invited to the camp.

The six players invited:

Dan Boyle, D, Miami University, San Jose Sharks

Duncan Keith, D, Michigan State University, Chicago Blackhawks

Chris Kunitz, F, Ferris State University, Pittsburgh Penguins

Patrick Sharp, F, University of Vermont, Chicago Blackhawks

Martin St. Louis, F, University of Vermont, Tampa Bay Lightning

Jonathan Toews, F, University of North Dakota, Chicago Blackhawks
