2014 NHL Draft Early Players to Watch List

The 2013 Draft is now in the books, it's time to wipe the slate clean and begin looking at some of the players that could be selected next summer at the 2014 NHL Draft. It's become an annual tradition here to post our first draft watch list on the Monday after the NHL Draft. You can view the 2013 version of said list here. As you can see, for the most part the list holds true, with a handful of players rising or falling throughout the year, and many more working their way onto the list.

The list, as always, only includes players that I've seen play and felt comfortable ranking, which means there are a lot of good players missing, but this serves as a good starting point. Players are broken up into three categories: 'A' players are ones I feel have the potential to be selected in the top 2-3 rounds of the draft, 'B' players are players I feel are likely to be selected somewhere, and 'C' players are that right now are sort of on the fringe of being in the top 210, or have the potential to be selected.

Note: It's not 100% where all these players will be playing next season, so everyone is listed with their 2012-2013 team.
