Boston University recruit Jack Eichel, and Yale commit John Hayden have both indicated their desire to play college hockey, according to Willy Palov of the Halifax Chronice-Herald.

The Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL) had drafted both players. Eichel, from Chelmsford, Mass., and Hayden, from Greenwich, Conn., play for the US National Development Program out of Ann Arbor, Mich.

Hayden is slated to arrive at Yale in the fall whereas Eichel is expected to be a 2014 recruit for new Boston University coach David Quinn.
