Miami Gives Rico Blasi a Ten Year Extension

Blasi will be at Miami until 2023.

Miami University announced today that they have signed head coach Rico Blasi to a 10-year contract extension that will keep him at Miami through 2023. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Blasi has been with Miami for the past 14 seasons, and has compiled a 311-196-53 record, while turning Miami into a consistent national powerhouse. The RedHawks have made the NCAA tournament in nine of the past 10 seasons, with two trips to the Frozen Four and have won three CCHA regular season titles and a CCHA playoff title.
