UMass-Lowell maintains their 1-0 lead through forty minutes. Riley Wetmore's power play goal just 3:08 into the first period remains the only goal scored in the game.
Lowell freshman goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has made 21 saves while Providence freshman goaltender Jon Gillies has stopped 16 of 17 shots faced. The Friars are 0 for 7 on the power play while the River Hawks are 1 for 4.

UMass-Amherst leads Merrimack 3-0 through forty minutes while Boston College is up 5-0 at Vermont through two. Maine and UNH skated to a 4-4 tie earlier in the day.
