Gophers Hockey: Minnesota vs. Bemidji State Friday night (3/8/13) line combinations

Minnesota makes only a single change against Bemidji State in the first game of their two-game series.

Minnesota Athletics

Following multiple changes in their last game, it appears Minnesota will stick with what worked in the final weekend of WCHA play.

The Gophers are only making a single change from Saturday's 5-1 win over Denver. Freshman defenseman Brady Skjei (New York Rangers) is in for junior Jake Parenteau against Bemidji State at the Sanford Center.

Minnesota finds themselves two points behind St. Cloud State in the standings with two games to go. The Huskies, who are in Madison to play Wisconsin this weekend, are playing for their first MacNaughton Cup. While they hold tiebreakers in most scenarios with the Gophers and North Dakota (also two points behind and playing 4th place Minnesota State), any teams tied for first would claim a share of the WCHA regular season title.

Adam Wilcox (Tampa Bay Lightning) is in net for Minnesota while Andrew Walsh is expected to do the same for the Beavers.
