Final scoring from Miami's 4-0 regional semifinal victory

Jonathan Daniel

Here's the scoring from Miami's 4-0 win over Minnesota State in the second Midwest regional semifinal. The Redhawks will advance to play St. Cloud State tomorrow afternoon.

1st Period

No scoring

2nd Period

11:04-Curtis McKenzie from Austin Czarnik and Riley Barber. 1-0 Miami

A turnover right as a Miami penalty expired allowed the Redhawks to turn a 2-on-1 into a three-on-one. Barber fed the puck to Czarnik, who dropped the puck back to McKenzie, who made a nice finish to the upper shelf on his backhand.

3rd Period

2:30- Marc Hagel from Blake Coleman 2-0 Miami

Coleman beat an MSU defender 1-on-1 and fed the puck across the net to Hagel who one-timed it into the net.

9:24 Cody Murphy from Max Cook and Blake Coleman 3-0 Miami

Off a scramble in front of the net, Murphy chipped at the puck and put it over a sprawled Stephon Williams and into the back of the net.

19:02- Max Cook from Austin Czarnik (Empty net) 4-0 Miami

Cook had a wide open look at the empty-net from the blue line and didn't miss.
