The CCHA announced today that Alaska forward Nolan Youngmun would be suspended one game for a hit made during Saturday's game against Ohio State. The play came early in the second period and Youngmun was given a five-minute major and game misconduct for the hit, which was essentially then upped to a game disqualification by the CCHA today.
Youngmun will be forced to miss next Friday's game at Lake Superior as a result of the suspension. Youngmun, a sophomore forward, has scored two goals and three assists in 28 games this year for the Nanooks.
