Injured Gophers senior Jake Parenteau posted on Twitter his before and after X-Rays from surgery Monday. The Minnesota defenseman was visibly in pain Friday after checking a Michigan State player 5:12 into the teams' 2-2 tie at Munn Arena. Parenteau had to be helped off the ice.
After Saturday's game, Gopher head Don Lucia that Parenteau is expected to miss 8 weeks with the leg injury, which would put his return in mid-February.
At the very least, it appears that the senior is recovering nicely.
