Maine senior goaltender Martin Ouellette made several spectacular saves in the series opener to keep the Black Bears in the game.

Orono, Maine -- Maine will attempt to sweep its second consecutive series at Alfond Arena Saturday night against Vermont. The Black Bears received tremendous goaltending from Martin Ouellette which allowed for the heroics of Ben Hutton and Steven Swavely who scored power play goals in the last five minutes of the game.

The Catamounts were done in by Ouellette who made some terrific saves, and the untimely penalties that gave the Black Bears a two-man advantage in the last five minutes.

Vermont has made a lot of switches to its lineup after last night's game, including in goal where Michael Santaguida will get the nod. Maine moves some parts around, but the only real difference is Connor Leen in for the injured Andrew Cerretani.
