Colorado College still hasn't been able to catch traction in their winless skid, but on Friday they did prove they can skate with the best.
After skating to a 2-2 tie in overtime, the Tigers downed the Huskies in the NCHC's shootout on Friday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota . Earlier in the year, CC was forced into another shootout against in-state rival, Denver, but lost 2-0.
Although the Tigers now have more draws than wins, it's a step in the right direction. The puck drops at 7:07 in St. Cloud for round 2.
