Led by Ryan Massa's 4th win in a row, the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks defeated the #8 ranked Miami Redhawks by a 6-3 score on Friday night.

UNO freshman Austin Ortega scored two goals and tallied an assist as well.  His transistion from playing in the USHL in college hockey seems to be going very well as 5-foot-8 forward has recorded seven points thus far.

It'll be interesting who starts tonight for the Mavericks.  Has Blais finally found his goaltender?
