Union at RPI: Pregame Notes and Line Combinations

Union forward Nick Cruice scored two goals on Friday night to pace the offense for Rick Bennett's club.


Troy, NY -- Union goes for its tenth straight victory over RPI Saturday night at Houston Field House on the campus of Rensselaer. The Engineers haven't defeated Union since November 13, 2010. The Dutchmen led 2-1 after 40 minutes on Friday, but scored two quick goals in the third period to go up 4-1. Matt Neal brought RPI within one with two goals of his own in the third period, but Seth Appert's team couldn't get the equalizer.
