Lowell, Mass. -- In a rematch of last year's NCAA Northeast Regional Final, the University of New Hampshire Wildcats will travel to the Tsongas Arena Friday night to take on the UMass-Lowell River Hawks for the first game of a home-and-home weekend series. The two teams will meet again tomorrow night at the Whittemore Center in Durham.

UNH swept the regular season series between these two clubs a year ago. All three matchups came in the first 12 games of the season with the River Hawks still struggling to find their identity. UMass-Lowell won the most important contest between the two clubs last season. Norm Bazin's team shut out UNH, 2-0, in Manchester to advance to the NCAA Frozen Four.
