Northeastern's Cody Ferriero Suspended
Hockey East has suspended Northeastern senior forward Cody Ferriero for two games for a slashing incident in Saturday's game at St. Lawrence. The Huskies fell, 6-4, in that game to the Saints for their first lost of the season.

Hockey East Captures Inaugural Big 10/HE Challenge
Hockey East captured the inaugural Big 10/Hockey East Challenge, 18-11, after all games were final on Sunday Afternoon. Vermont's 5-2 victory over Penn State clinched the title for Hockey East. Minnesota downed BC 6-1 Sunday, but it was too late.

Northeastern Still Undefeated After 6-3 Win at SLU
Northeastern overcame a 2-0 deficit to bulldoze past St. Lawrence, 6-3, and remain undefeated on the season. Senior goaltender Clay Witt made 39 stops to help preserve the win for Jim Madigan's club.

Devin Shore found a wide-open Connor Leen in front of the net with 1:33 to play in the overtime period. Once the Chester, NJ native received the puck, he buried it into the back of the cage, which set off a wild celebration.

Niko Rufo's OT Tally Lifts Providence Past Miami
Nate Leaman said his team played an immature game, but it was Friars freshman Niko Rufo who was the hero in Friday's 3-2 overtime victory over Miami. Steven McParland and Mark Jankowski scored the other two goals for undefeated Providence.
