In an 8-1 rout over Boston College, one goal by the tallest player on the ice stood out.
With Minnesota up 2-0 in the first period, 6'6" junior forward Nick Bjugstad scored a highlight-reel goal for his second of the game. The Florida Panthers prospect got Eagles defenseman Collin Sulivan looking one way, sped around him and then deked Parker Millner for his 10th goal of the season 13:53 into the game.
It was all in one motion and gave both the Gophers and the 10,230 in attendance something to cheer about while prompting BC head coach Jerry York to take a timeout to calm his team down. It didn't work as Bjugstad ended the game with 4 points (2G-2A) and Minnesota defeated the top-ranked Eagles.
