The CCHA announced their first and second all-league teams today, as voted on by the league's 11 coaches. Western Michigan and Notre Dame dominated the first team, taking up a combined five out of the six available slots. The second team was more of a mix with five different teams represented.

Others receiving votes included: Scott Czarnowczan, JR, D, Ferris State, (2) 19; A.J. Treais, SR, F, Michigan, (1) 18; Kyle Bonis, SR, F, Ferris State, (1) 16; Kevin Kapalka, JR, G, Lake Superior, (2) 15; Andrew Hammond, SR, G, Bowling Green, (1) 15; Sam Calabrese, SR, D, Notre Dame (0) 12.
My first team ballot probably would have looked pretty much the same. I would have definitely had Andrew Hammond and Scott Czarnowczan on my ballot, and would have considered both for the first team. I would have strongly considered Ohio State's Max McCormick as well, but at the same time, I have a difficult time picking a forward to remove from the list.
