WCHA Preseason Media Poll

The results of this year's 94X (X!...X....x....)WCHA Preseason Media Poll have been released. As a reminder, here was 1/26th of the voting in the form of my ballot.

Here's what the poll looks like this year(First place votes in parentheses):

Preseason Player of the Year goes to Denver's Jason Zucker, with 10 votes, just barely edging out Colorado College's Jaden Schwartz with 8 votes. Minnesota-Duluth's Jack Connolly, Wisconsin's Justin Schultz, and Denver's Drew Shore all also received votes.

Rocco Grimaldi ran away with rookie of the year voting with `17 votes. Also receiving votes were Minnesota's Seth Ambroz, Denver's Scott Mayfield, Alaska-Anchorage's Sam Mellor, and Minnesota's Kyle Rau

Scott Owens beat out Mel Pearson 8-5 for preseason coach of the year.
