Minnesota State added two defenseman this past week. Joining the Mavericks next year is BCHL overage defenseman Nick Buchanan. Buchanan is a part of the Penticton Vees team that now has 14 Division I commits. Joining the Mavericks after a year or two of junior hockey is Eagan defenseman Eli May.

Jacob Fallon, who was kicked off of Michigan's team last year, has been trying to resurrect his career with the Indiana Ice of the USHL, and committed to play for the University of Vermont next season, where he will start as a sophomore with the Catamounts.

Former Chicago Mission forward Theo DiPauli, now with the Chicago Steel of the USHL, committed to play for Union. His younger brother Tom is already committed to Notre Dame. Another Mission alum, Waterloo's Mitch Witek, will head to the Ivy League to play for Yale next season.

Former Rogers, Minnesota forward/defenseman Jesse Ramsey committed to Air Force after three years in the NAHL. Ramsey is a smooth skater that made the switch over defense this past year, which has really paid off for him.

Another three year NAHL vet, Brett Lubanksi, committed to Holy Cross. Lubanski came up through the Detroit Honeybaked program, and was a member of the famous 06/07 Honeybaked team that featured the likes of Cam Fowler, Drew Shore, Chris Brown, Kenny Ryan, Chris Crane, and CJ Motte, among others.
