Mike Lee Injured for St. Cloud

Brad Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald is reporting that St. Cloud starting goalie Mike Lee did not make the trip to Grand Forks this weekend for the Huskies series against North Dakota, due to an injury that could be season-ending.

Lee's absence leaves the Huskies with a mish-mash of former NAHL goalies. Ryan Faragher is the only scholarship goalie left on the roster, and he'll likely handle the bulk of the duty while Lee is out, backed up by former Hill-Murray state champion Joe Phillippi and former Hermantown state champion Nate Hardy.

The Huskies looked to be rebounding a little from a rough year last season, but with an already shaky defense, losing Lee might be a crippling blow for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, North Dakota's Colten St. Clair is officially done for the year, after not making it through the NCAA's Clearinghouse.
