NHL Draft Combine Results

The NHL posted the results of the top ten performers for each physical test performed at the NHL Combine. How much these results mean for a player's future is definitely up for debate. I tend to lean on the side of believing they don't mean much. But extra information is never a bad thing, and I do think it says something when kids put in the extra work to be impressive here, knowing that every NHL team will be watching.

The type of player also has to be taken into account. Going through the results, I'd say Stephen Johns and Mark Alt were both Combine All-Stars, but nobody has ever questioned their physical abilities, so impressive tests probably don't carry as much weight as what they do on the ice.

I've put together a listing of all the college players to make the top ten on each test. You can view it after the jump.
