Michigan State unveiled their new hockey jerseys and they weren't all that popular.

Brad Schlossman at the Grand Forks Herald looked at how each WCHA team had fared over the past decade.

Gopher beat writer Roman Augustoviz tries to pick the forward lines for Minnesota next year. He's got freshmen Erik Haula and Seth Ambroz on the top line with guys like Josh Birkholz, Jake Hansen, and Nico Sacchetti starting the year on the bench. Like I said....god coming in; garbage coming out.

Also, for what it's worth, Mark Alt officially signed to play hockey.

I never put this together, but apparently that Icelandic volcano story had it's own effect on the hockey world, making it difficult for NHL teams to get to Minsk for the U18s. Wild assistant GM Brent Flahr took an 18-hour boat ride to get there from Sweden.

The USHL's Clark Cup finals are set. It will be a match-up between the Fargo Force and Green Bay Gamblers. The Force just played a pretty hard-fought five game series with the Omaha Lancers, that included some suspensions for a nasty hit by Omaha's C.J. Ludwig. There's apparently no love lost between the teams.

Meanwhile, Traverse City, Bismarck, and Fairbanks will join usual suspects St. Louis and Wenatchee in the NAHL's Robertson Cup tournament which will get kicked off next weekend.
