Olver Signs with Colorado

Northern Michigan Hobey Baker finalist Mark Olver has given up his final year of eligibility to sign with the Colorado Avalanche, who drafted him in 2008.

Olver had an amazing year, scoring 49 points and leading the Wildcats back to the NCAA tournament. Though his size isn't ideal for the pro hockey game, he was one of the smoothest players in all of college hockey this year.
