I already had a pretty extensive post on the '93 birthdates playing for the NTDP this year. Here's a look at some of the other '93 born prospects playing at the NAHL Showcase.
Standard disclaimer: It's a big tournament and I'm sure I missed a few very good players.Nothing personal if you think I've missed a certain player. I'm just pointing out a few players I noticed.
You can view the list of '93 born prospects after the jump.
Kyle Sucher-D-St. Louis Selects(U18)(Bowling Green commit)-Solid defenseman, plays his position pretty well. He really reminds me of former Bowling Green defenseman Nick Bailen.
Tyler Rostenkowski-D-Texas Tornado(NAHL)-Youngest player in the league and didn't look out of place in the little I saw him.
Jared Linell-F-Arctic Lions(U16)(Alaska commit)-Relatively quiet in the little I saw him play, but lots of talent.
Todd Koritzinsky-F-Team Wisconsin(U16)-Good hands and really good scoring ability.
Daniel Blue-F-Carolina Jr. Hurricanes(U16)-I didn't get to see a lot of Carolina, but Blue led the NAPHL U16 division in scoring, and has pretty good size, so he may be a player to watch.
Jakob Batcha-F-Milwaukee Jr. Admirals(U18)-Big forward with some pretty decent skill.
Devin Loe-F-Florida Panthers Alliance(U16)-Didn't get to see a lot of Florida either, but Loe has some experience at the National Select Festivals and had a very nice weekend here, finishing with 8 points
Colton Wolter-F-Arctic Lions(U16)-Very effective offensive player
Seth Blair-F-Omaha Jr. Lancers(U18)-Big kid with pretty good talent.
Josh Bretner-D-Team Maryland(U18)-Solid young defenseman playing up a year.
David Dekorte-F-Lansing Capitals(U18)-Not the most skilled offensive player, but made things happen with effort and physical play.
