Alaska-Anchorage Releases New Roster

Alaska-Anchorage released their roster for next season, and there were quite a few surprises.

Forwards Tyler Moir and Brian Bales are no longer on the team. Bales was a transfer from Bowling Green, and was a pretty effective playmaker for the Seawolves.

There's also some new additions, including Swedish forward Daniel Naslund, and MItch Bruijsten from the Sioux City Musketeers. Bruijsten is intriguing in that he came over to the US in 2007-2008, and got off to a really fast start in the USHL. His pace slowed a little as the season wore on, but he still finished with a very respectable 30 points in 56 games, and improved that number to 41 points last season. He's also over 6 feet tall and weighs over 200 lbs. It perhaps raises some eyebrows when a player with that pedigree is a last-minute addition to a perpetually losing team, but there seems to be some real potential there.

Here is the compete roster.
