Good Week for Minnesotans at Select 16s

The Select 16 Festival for players born in 1993 was held last week in Rochester, New York, and, at least statistically, it was a pretty impressive showing by the players from the state of Minnesota.

The leading scorer for the week was native Texan Cason Hohmann, who led the MWEHL in scoring for Compuware last season, and looks to be headed to the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders of the USHL.

Four Minnesotans finished in the top in scoring. Those players were Hill-Murray's Ben Bahe, Hopkins' Travis Boyd, Eden Prairie's Dan Molenaar, and Benilde's Christian Horn. Molenaar was the highest scoring defenseman at the camp as well. St. Thomas Academy's Matt McNeeley had the best goals against average and save percentage among the goalies as well.

Statistics for the Festival can be found here.
