I thought it was a little strange that Hibbing HS forward Aaron Jamnick wasn't on Minnesota's roster for the Chicago Showcase for top uncommitted senior hockey players, but it makes a little more sense now because Jamnick has committed to Providence.
Providence has made a habit of trying to pick up high school players out of Minnesota, and playing in Hockey East, Jamnick will get to run into former Hibbing teammate Anthony DeCenzo, who is going to Vermont.
